The brief, and why it was written that way
Two to eight degrees, validated lanes, own fleet, United States. This is a service brief, so it was searched inside one country: a carrier that cannot reach your dock is not a carrier.
"Own fleet" is the clause that does the most work. The temperature controlled logistics market is full of brokers who will happily quote your lane and then subcontract it, and for a pharmaceutical shipper the difference between a carrier and a broker is the difference between a validated chain of custody and a phone call. "Validated lanes" is the second filter and it is a compliance claim, which means it appears in writing on the sites of the companies that have it.

What is actually in the file

The file is a sensible mix of what a pharmaceutical shipper actually uses. Airline cargo divisions and specialist courier operations sit at the top alongside dedicated cold chain carriers and packaging-plus-transport firms. Certificates are printed as each company publishes them and are not verified with the issuing body. The reason is recorded per reason code, not per company. The pipeline counts how many candidates each rule dropped and keeps no reason against an individual name, so this table says how the 26 were lost and cannot say which company sits behind any one of the counts.
A missing certificate never drops a good maker. It lowers a score, and the score is a number you can argue with.
Where this stops being enough
The screen reads "own fleet" from what a carrier claims, and asset-light operators are not always forthcoming about it. The reliable check is equipment: a carrier that owns trailers photographs them, publishes their specifications and names the telemetry system. A broker publishes a coverage map and a quote form.
The other limit is that this brief was national. Cold chain is bought lane by lane, and the honest next step after a run like this is a second, narrower search on the specific origin and destination that matters to you.
